In 2018, after 30 years, Lufthansa changed the livery of its aircraft.  The main colour is now a "Noble Blue" specially developed for Lufthansa.  A Boeing 747-8, the most modern version of the legendary Jumbo, was chosen as the first machine to show the new design to the world.
